DARE A250 MAP & TIMELINE
Across our 110 miles of coastline, our challenging geography has presented both obstacles and opportunities for those who strive to succeed, to be better, and to be the “first” as we have moved through history. This interactive map and timeline will include historical firsts such as the first colony, the first in flight, and first lifesaving stations in North Carolina, as well as other significant events such as the Ash Wednesday storm and Pirate’s Jamboree.
